CLASSICAL CONCERT AT ELISABET NEY MUSEUM

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 1, 7-8 PM



Austin, TX – In celebration of the holiday season, the Elisabet Ney Museum will open for an evening performance by Quartetto Lirico on Friday, December 1, 7-8 PM. The evening program will include Mozart’s String Quintet No. 4 in C Minor and Shostakovich’s String Quartet No. 1 in C Major. The concert is free. Seating is limited. Reservations are required. Telephone 458-2255. The Elisabet Ney Museum is located at 304 East 44th Street.

The members of Quartetto Lirico have performed extensively throughout the United States in ensembles including the Austin Lyric Opera and Des Moines Opera, and abroad including the International Festival in Vols and Schlern, Italy. In addition to accomplished performers, each member is an active teacher at prestigious organizations including the Austin Chamber Music Center, Waldorf School of Music, Mary Hardin Baylor University, and the Armstrong School of Music.
